Project Overview

The project showcases a clean, minimalist healthcare interior. It features a central
nurse’s station/reception hub, private or semi-private consultation rooms, and
patient bays equipped with medical gases and power integration. The use of light wood grains (oak/birch tones) paired with sterile white surfaces suggests a “Warm Clinical” design language intended to reduce patient anxiety.

What Makes This Project Design Special

Seamless Hygiene Integration

The design utilizes coved flooring (where the floor material curves up the wall). This is a critical healthcare feature that eliminates sharp 90-degree corners where bacteria and dust usually collect, making the entire space much easier to deep-clean and maintain to sterile standards.

"Resimercial" Aesthetic

The cabinetry and desks use high-quality wood laminates instead of standard clinical metal or plastic. This "resimercial" (residential + commercial) approach is a growing trend in modern healthcare designed to make patients feel more at home, which has been shown to improve recovery outcomes.

Integrated Medical Headwalls

Instead of messy, exposed pipes and wires, the medical gas outlets and electrical sockets are recessed into sleek, horizontal panels.

  • Flexibility:The ceiling-mounted curtain tracks are designed to follow the flow of the room, allowing for rapid reconfiguration from an open ward to private bedside areas.

Smart Space Optimization

The nurse station features a dual-height counter. The lower section is ADA-accessible and suitable for seated work, while the higher "transaction top" provides a standing-height surface for quick charting and offers visual privacy for sensitive documents on the desk below.
