What Makes This Landed Design Special
The "Wave" Feature Wall & Fluted Details
- In the living area, the design moves away from flat surfaces. A custom-curved "wave" panel adds a sculptural, 3D element to the TV console area. This is complemented by timber fluted panels on the upper wall and ceiling recesses, which add vertical rhythm and hide structural joints.
Layered "Floating" Ceiling Trays
The ceiling is a major focal point. Instead of a simple flat plane, the designers used nested tray ceilings finished with warm wood veneers.
- Indirect LED lighting is tucked into the coves to provide a soft
- The dark wood against the white walls creates a "capping" effect that makes the large open space feel more intimate.
Glass-Enclosed "Gallery" Kitchen
- The kitchen uses a minimalist black-framed glass partition. This "dry kitchen" concept allows the space to remain visually open to the living room while providing a physical barrier for noise or cooking smells. The use of a massive marble-clad island that matches the floor creates a monolithic, seamless look.
Seamless Material Transitions
- Marble-to-Wood: The transition from the cool marble living room floor to the warm timber staircase and balcony decking is handled with precision.
- The Bathroom Sanctuary: The master bath uses large-format marble tiles on both floors and walls to create a "cocoon" effect, featuring a freestanding tub and a floating vanity with under-cabinet lighting.
